Railroad Track Maintenance
In order to avoid costly and dangerous derailments and to prevent tracks from being removed from service due to adverse conditions, IRC provides ongoing maintenance services. Our railroad track maintenance service is also designed to function in conjunction with our monthly track inspection services to meet FRA requirements. These reports provide our clients with immediate notification of any developing problems/defects and estimates on corrective repairs at no cost.
Railroad Track Maintenance Services may include some of the following items:
- Lubricate and tighten track switches.
- Repair track switches.
- Spot surfacing.
- Change out of ties and/or rails.
- Reconditioning turnouts and frogs.
