Flint Ink - West Sacramento, CA

IRC performed a design-build (reconstruction) of an existing, older spur track, located at the Flint Ink Facility in West Sacramento, California. The purpose of the project was two-fold; to repair an older spur track, and to build a new containment system to handle potential railcar spillage.

Our work included the survey, design, construction staking, spur removal, reconstruction, and all civil work associated with the design and construction of a new containment basin including catch-basins, subdrains, asphalt paving, and outfall piping. IRC performed all of the work in-house, with the exception of the new fencing.
